Norberto Diaz is a former music teacher and a talented leader and performer. But his dynamic personality is only part of the reason for his effectiveness and popularity. Behind his boundless energy and enthusiasm are years of dedicated experience both as a teacher, administrator and principal.

Norberto Diaz Principal
Norberto Diaz has served as Principal in Kearny, Haworth and Newark, NJ. As a Principal with the Newark Public Schools, Norberto Diaz directed the Renaissance Program, an Alternative School for urban youth. As Principal / Director in charge of this initiative, he was called upon to oversee and participate in the writing of Educational Behavioral Modification Plans (EBMP) for students in the program. Fluent in three languages (English, Spanish and Portuguese), Norberto Diaz was well equipped to meet the demands from parents and students in this challenging educational environment.

Prior to becoming a school administrator, Norberto Diaz was a gifted public school teacher for grade K-8. He was an effective educator and quickly gained the trust of parents and students. At the same time he took a strong interest in the bigger picture and participated in numerous curriculum committees.

Norberto Diaz holds a Master’s of Arts Degree in Public School Administration, a Second Master’s of Arts Degree in Music Education as well as six other instructional certifications issued by the New Jersey Department of Education.
As a teacher and administrator, Norberto Diaz is constantly thinking and adjusting to improve his performance and the performance of his staff and students.
